Durum Master Program
South West Terminal (SWT) and Prairie Grain Producers (PGP) are pleased to present the inaugural "Durum Master Program".
The Durum Master Program will recognize the top samples of durum submitted by growers from the 2008 harvest. "The goal is to recognize the quality durum that is produced by farmers in southwest Saskatchewan" said Mark Schell CEO of South West Terminal. He went on to say, "Farmers put a tremendous amount of effort in striving to produce a quality product and we would like to show our support for that effort". During this fall’s harvest, interested producers will be able to submit samples of their durum into SWT Gull Lake, PGP Swift Current or SWT Hazenmore.
Prizes will be given for the top 10 samples with the top 3 samples receiving an all expense paid trip for 2 to Toronto to tour a pasta plant.
Please watch your mail for the flyer or talk to any representative of SWT or PGP for more information.
South West Terminal is independently owned and directed by farmers.
